Vegies I Don't Like to Eat

Green beans sweet potatoes,
Baby carrots, too,
Vegies I don't like to eat,
I'll count them for you.
Broccoli, celery,
Any thing that's green,
Vegetables are horrible,
Although they keep you lean.
Cauliflower, spinage,
Artichoke and beans,
Boys and girls hate them,
Don't you think that's mean?
To many to count,
To many to hate,
I guess I'm stuck with
Green monster bait!

Cool, but not true. I love corn and steamed broccoli.

Katie, excellent job on the poem! It's really funny and I like saying it out loud - it really rolls off of the tongue!

I feel the exact same way about veggies! Someone told me this weekend that there really is no such thing as vegetables. That everything we consider a veggie, can actually be put into other food groups! Loved the poem!

I'm feeling really old because I like all of the vegetables in the poem but I can remember when I didn't! Although they're all good if they have enough butter and/or cheese. This is making me very hungry!
