CAT (cat adoption team)

On Saturday the Friesens and I went to a cat adoption center. We got to go in different rooms and interact with the cats in them. Some of the cats were in cages, though. Before I went, I made a catnip sock mouse (witch I'll tell you how to make in my next post) to give to the cats there. They really enjoyed it! But my favorite cat, or kitten, I should say, was a tiny kitten named Bug. I LOVED Bug! Even though he was in a cage, Alyssa and I still got to hold him! He got adopted a few days later. I guess it's happy he got a home. (my parents wouldn't have let me keep him anyway, but...) That was one of my best trips ever, and I want to say thank you again to Alyssa and Rebecca.

Oh, and have I mentioned I love cats?

You're welcome - glad you had a good time! It was fun to have you along. We'll have to do it again sometime. As soon as Alyssa can drive, you two can go out there every day! =-)

Looks like fun! The cat on your lap looks big! I wonder if the kittens get adopted way faster than the older cats....Which would you like to have?

Next time you come to town you will have to come meet our cat, Franklin. We adopted him from the neighborhood and he's been a great cat. We call him Franklin Six Toes because he has extra toes on his big feet. They look like bobcat paws to me. Just this morning he was letting Sophie make him dance. He is a very funny cat.
