On Father's day, I got my ears pierced!!! My parents said I could get them when I was 10, but my birthday is in soccer season, so I convinced my parents to let me get them now. I was really nearveous at first, but I've gotten used to them already. I got to pick the earring, and I got a rainbow flower. It hurt A LOT when they used the gun. I didn't cry though. But having earrings is hard work! I have to use special alcohol to clean my ears every day, 3 times a day, for 8 weeks! I get to finally take them off August 20, witch happens to be my parent's wedding aniversary! Also, August 21, the day after I can take my earrings out, is my dad's birthday! I'm really excited, and look forward to showing my earrings to you! KATIE

How fun! I love the earrings you chose - very cute. I can tell it must not have been too painful because your "after" smile is even bigger than the "before" smile!
Katie, thank you for being so patient. I know that waiting THREE years was hard to do! We are so proud of you and you look fabulous with earrings. Thanks for letting us all be there with you!!
WOOOHOOOO! I am so excited for you! Aunt Cheryl took me to get my ears pierced at the mall when I was six. It does hurt a little bit, but it is totally worth it! Can't wait to see your new ears this weekend....
